Protecting Watersheds and Ecosystems
Research within the CWN/RCE engages over 100 principal investigators and
collaborators from across Canada and several international organizations.
Projects within the CWN/RCE cover a wide spectrum of water issues,
including both groundwater and surface water, from the science,
engineering, management and public policy perspectives.
Program Description and Core Challenges
Because of their multi-disciplinary nature, many of the projects include
elements and expertise that reflect several different themes. The number of
projects and researchers within the Network is expected to grow and the Network
is expected to evolve over time to address new issues, or to provide greater
emphasis on existing ones.
