Protecting Watersheds and Ecosystems

Research within the CWN/RCE engages over 100 principal investigators and collaborators from across Canada and several international organizations. Projects within the CWN/RCE cover a wide spectrum of water issues, including both groundwater and surface water, from the science, engineering, management and public policy perspectives.

Program Description and Core Challenges

Because of their multi-disciplinary nature, many of the projects include elements and expertise that reflect several different themes. The number of projects and researchers within the Network is expected to grow and the Network is expected to evolve over time to address new issues, or to provide greater emphasis on existing ones.
