Over the years, the Canadian Water Network’s Program Management Committee has provided invaluable advice on research program focus and scope, as well as overseen elements of program development, research management and peer review.

However, as CWN has evolved into an increasingly end user–centric organization, the Program Management Committee has been charged with a more focused role — that of a Research Management Committee. This change in the Committee’s responsibility reflects the evolution of CWN’s strategic priorities for research and impact, goals and scope, as these priorities are now increasingly being defined by its end user–led consortia.

Comprised of committee chairs, program theme leaders and representatives of network investigators and partners, CWN’s Research Management Committee ensures excellence in research projects, as well as provides advice and support to the Scientific Director and Board of Directors.
