At Canadian Water Network, we pride ourselves on our dedication and commitment to training and mentoring graduate students and young professionals to become Canada’s future water leaders. Hundreds have participated in opportunities to learn from peers and mentors through research projects, workshops and networking events.

“Students walk away with amazing memories, enviable on-the-ground experiences and a brighter future, thanks to Canadian Water Network.”

Roberta Nouari, Institute for Resources, Environment & Sustainability, University of British Columbia

Canada’s water challenges cut across disciplines, sectors and jurisdictions, and require multiple perspectives and collaboration to achieve tangible solutions.

Through their involvement in CWN initiatives, students and young professionals acquire multidisciplinary perspectives and practical skills — while having fun, making new friends and expanding their network.
